(Lone) Wolf & Cub is a Chicago-based four-piece that plays dense, thrashy, and complex melodic metal. Like the films and comics they are named after, their lyrics often deal with dark themes. Thick drums and bass pummel under harmonized guitars and a three headed hydra of vocals. Their musical base comes from a wide range of influences. The intensity of DIY/punk bands like His Hero is Gone and Discharge meet odd-time riffing influenced by early At the Gates and Lethargy. Speed and ferocity meld with song-writing and riffcraft to give (Lone) Wolf and Cub a unique blend of melody and mayhem.
